This is no ordinary retreat as we are very fortunate to be based inside Chalice Well gardens staying at Little St Michael’s Retreat House.

This is a rare privilege. Chalice well gardens is a designated place of peace and in many ways the very heart of Glastonbury. The well in the garden has long been considered sacred and its healing waters have flowed for thousands of years at a steady rate of 110,000 litres per day and a temperature of 11 degrees centigrade. The gardens are truly one of my favourite places on earth. Utterly peaceful, and we’ll be there in Spring with beautiful new flowers blooming. We will have daily meditation and yoga practices with an emphasis on connecting to solar and lunar energies through mantra, movement and mindfulness and one sacred sound bath. One of the great gifts of staying there is that we’ll be able to hold a private ceremony with cacao and water at the Well when the site is closed to visitors. A rare and unique treat in one of the most sacred sites on the planet. We will also walk up to the Tor close by and visit Glastonbury Abbey, the Goddess Temple and a beautiful small chapel that is a favourite spot of mine. Spaces are limited as we’ll be an intimate group of 11 people, so I recommend booking soon.

This retreat is like no other! We are privileged to stay within the peaceful Chalice Well gardens, the heart of Glastonbury.

This small town in the Somerset countryside is filled with more myths and legends then most countries. For this is Avalon, the sacred isle, with the iconic masculine Tor on the hill with epic 360 degree panoramic views, the sacred feminine wells and springs at the foot of the hill, ancient and modern connections to the goddess, and possibly the oldest Christian church in the world connected to Joseph of Arimathea and the legends of the Holy Grail. It’s also the land of King Arthur and his Knights, where his and Guenivere’s bodies were buried, has strong links to the Druids and Essenes and has been a place of pilgrimage for thousands of years, long before the now famous music festival. Apart from all of that it’s also just a lovely unique town full of character surrounded by beautiful English countryside.
