Namaste, I’m Jacqueline

A global teacher, healer, writer, presenter and travel guide

I’m half English, half Venezuelan with a mum born in NY – so quite a mix. I am a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society having lived and worked on 6 continents and been to 94 countries. I am passionate about this world of wonder, travel, and all things holistic, healthy, healing and sacred, and love sharing them with others. I’m excited about the return of the Divine Feminine and her qualities, bringing much needed balance back to this planet.

I was considered for the role of Lara Croft in Tomb Raider, but instead led expeditions in fascinating, remote, sacred parts of the world, amongst ancient archaeological wonders. Not so very different, except for the salary! My creations include three books; sharing Life Tools to make the journey of life easier, Wisdom from my encounters with several of the world’s bright lights including Nelson Mandela, the Dalai Lama, Stephen Hawking and Jane Goodall, a coffee table book with highlights from my travels in photos with inspiring stories, a documentary about a sustainable community in Jamaica and my own 100% natural products called Love Gaia,

On my travels I have worked on various community, humanitarian and environmental projects around the world as well as leading retreats globally.

These include building a weaving workshop and a casa communal with local Quechua communities in Peru, an environmental project in the Ecuadorian Amazon, working on a Book Bus project for children in Zambia and Malawi (including 6 weeks in a refugee camp), volunteering at an orphanage in Nepal. Working on rainwater harvesting and education projects in Fiji, teaching English and sustainable development and planting trees in Mayan communities in Tulum- Mexico, and doing challenge horse rides in Mongolia to raise money for animal welfare.

I lived in Egypt for a year teaching yoga on boats for kite safaris, dive safaris and retreats swimming with wild dolphins, and in Costa Rica teaching yoga in the jungle and on the Caribbean Coast. I have led yoga retreats in Kerala- India, the Azores, Turkey, Mexico, France, Spain and beyond.  

These experiences have shown me that we live in a World of Wonder, have far more similarities than differences and that focussing on what unites us and protecting our one home, this precious earth, are the keys to a brighter future. I believe we can collectively dream a better world into being. A new, more beautiful Age is coming. A new earth led by love and harmony. We are here to help birth it.
